A Journey For Life....

Updated: Sep 13, 2018

Over fifty (50) years ago I embarked upon one of the most advantageous journeys of my life. That journey was discovering the foundation of a healthy life-style which I have followed for the last 63 years. I will turn 75 years young in August 2018. I have been often told that my appearance does not reflect that number at all.

I was about 12 years old when my healthy journey began. One of my oldest aunt's was having trouble with her eyesight. As a result of my aunt's failing vision, every time I visited her , I would read different books that she requested. I would mostly read from books about natural health, healing techniques, and folk lore.

Although my aunt was up in age her mind was sharp and full of "Mother Wit" which she often shared with me. Without even knowing it my aunt was planting knowledge that set the foundation of my growth and development in the field of mind and body modalities.

Every time I visited my aunt, I read from book that I didn't even understand. Over time, I began enjoying those books with their strange words and subject matter. The information from those health books started to sink in and I began to connect the dots so to speak which enhanced my understanding.

My life experienced a turning point as a result of reading books on healthy life-styles to my aunt.

My eating habits became more selective towards a balance and healthy diet. As my life began to come into balance, I focused on studying various forms of martial arts, T'ai Chi and Qigong. I also ventured into the studies of hypnosis, acupressure, energy-based medicine and spirituality.

I realized my life was being guided on a holistic path which involved tapping into my guide within. The result of my healthy choices inspired me to share what I have learned with everyone I come in contact with. Since 1982 I have been teaching martial arts and mind body modalities professionally. I am proud to say my health has remained intact without any medical problems, medications, or surgeries.

If you are not already on a healthy life style path, it's never too late to begin. You can even start out as slow as eating a bowl of Cheerios or a healthy breakfast of your choice. Also ensure you drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your body hydrated and flushed. JUST GET STARTED...
