Lord Hear Me…. I’m Calling

“but they who wait for the LORD shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” ~ Isaiah 40:31

Well, hello again friends and fellow readers. Just a few more nuggets that I would like to share with you. You see, since the last time that I shared with you, a lot has been going on, not only in my life, but in the world. So much so, that it sometimes leaves us crying out to the Lord to help us. Lord, hear my cry. Oh Lord hear my call. I am trusting you to see me through. When you breathe the breath of life, everything will be alright.

As I heard those words in my spirit, I began to reflect on the times when I couldn’t pray, the times when I needed God to just hear my heart, to just breathe on me. During those times when all the world was whirling around me as though I were in a whirlwind, I simply needed the Lord to breathe on me. Breathe on me his peace. Breathe on me his compassion. Breathe on me his love. There are times when I have felt spiritually naked, uncovered, totally exposed. Everything about my life was out in the open. Like Adam and Eve, when they disobeyed God, I wanted to hide. But, I heard the Lord say, it’s alright baby girl, I’ve got you.

Genesis 3:7 tells us, “Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.”

You see, in His word God has given us certain commands to follow, certain things that we are to do, and certain things that we are not to do.

Like Paul said in Romans 7:15, “I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.”

So I find myself leaning a lot more to the right, trusting God, letting my faith do a little more walking and a lot less talking. I’m trying to find the place of calm. When you find yourself in a state of confusion and struggle and you can’t seem to get your words out, know that God can hear your heart. As a matter of fact, he already is working on your situation, but He’s waiting on you. What you can’t speak, the Holy Spirit has already translated to the Father.

It is so amazing that while we are calling he hears us, and while we are speaking it is done. Hear our cry oh Lord, hear our call. We are trusting You to see us through. So much, Lord. So much! I needed to cry out and, so I did.

We’ll talk again later, but until then you are wished much love, joy and peace. ~Barbara G.

“And this it the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to His will he hears us.”
