If We Had Only Asked!!

YOU HAVE NOT BECAUSE YOU ASK NOT!

Well hello again dear friends and fellow readers! Yes it’s me again, back to share a few more nuggets with you.

Mark 11:24 says, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” (NIV)

So much is going on. Seems like we have been pulled in all kinds of directions. But I just thought to myself. Did we have to try to do it all alone? The word of God says, “that if we ask it will be given to us, seek and we shall find, knock and the door will be opened to you…” Luke 11:9. Seems pretty simple to me.

Just wonder if we had just taken a few minutes to get some directions how much further down the road we would be. When you said, I got this I don’t need help, how much time did you lose riding around in circles?

That kind of reminds me of macho man. You know, the one you suggest stopping and ask for directions, and they insist that they aren’t lost. My, my, we circle so much that we can just about name what is coming up before we get to it.

Hannah asked God for a son. Peter is in prison preaching, and the people are praying for his release. Jairus asked Jesus to heal his daughter, and Moses was bold enough to ask God to see God’s glory up close and personal. A thief on the cross asked Jesus to save him before he died. These are just a few instances of trusting God enough to ask for what one wanted.

Now what do you need to ask God for? Where is your faith, your belief that you can have it if you ask, and it is in His will? If those asks were answered, how much more yours could be answered as well. I said could, but one has to ask in faith, trusting that it shall be done, in order to receive.

Alrighttty then my friends. That’s it for now. We’ll talk again later. But in the meantime you are wished love, joy, peace and blessings in abundance.

“It doesn’t matter how many times you pray and ask God, fix it for me. It can’t happen until you stop trying to fix it for him. Let go. Let God. He will do it. Let Him.” ~ Joyann ~
