Long Term Health Care

Health is Wealth; Protect it !

As humanity continues on a journey through this current worldwide pandemic, health and medical related topics are at the top of most news media headlines everyday with no end in sight.  To add insult to injury doctors, nurses and other health-care professionals are being burnt out at an alarming rate across the country posing a growing problem right before our eyes.

What if you had to go to a hospital or an emergency facility and there were no doctors, nurses or any medical staff there to address your immediate/progressive medical needs?  What would you do?  How would you react? Are you aware of any remedies or first aid to perform for this immediate situation?  Or better yet, could that immediate medical emergency, acute or chronic, have been prevented altogether? Think about that.

The general public should be thinking about repercussions to the above-mentioned situation as well as possible preventive measures they could be taking right now to better their respective health and wellness. 

With that said, here are a few things I would like to share, that you could start working on right now towards a tentative long term health care program.  This long term health program comes under the heading of prevention. 

If you thought I was going to say something about Tai Chi you would be absolutely correct.  Tai Chi with its slow gentle movements can work your entire body from the inside outwardly.  Additionally you will be working three major body systems (Circulatory, Repertory and Digestive systems) all at the same time.  These slow body massaging movements within themselves can work wonders to help maintain a healthy mind, body and spirit in a very cost effective way. 

Talk about a possible long term health care system with built in prevention measures rolled into one, Tai Chi will definitely serve you well. 

Other major proactive healthcare and wellness directions for consideration lay in areas of holistic medical health care preventions; yes holistic medical preventions. The more we learn about mind, body, spirit and emotions modalities like Tai Chi, Qigong, Acupressure, Reflexology, Reiki, Yoga and Hypnosis, to name just a few, the more we are stepping in the right direction toward self-care in a very cost effective way.
