Life is a journey paved with choices. And here's the truth: even when we don't choose, we're still making a choice.
This thought struck me as I sat in a small café across from my flat in Lyon, France. More than a decade ago, I chose to say yes! Yes, to an adventure, yes to a calling, yes to stepping into the unknown. That one bold choice led me here, to a life I never imagined, and yet one that feels completely right. It reminds me of that iconic line from Mission: Impossible:

"Should you choose to accept this mission…"

That’s how life has felt ever since, my first yes. A series of missions some terrifying, many exhilarating, all transformative.
Because I chose yes, dreams have taken shape. Global communities have formed. Love is flowing, being shared, being lived. Life real, raw, beautiful life is happening. And it all began with a single choice that led to many more.

Saying yes has been the catalyst for showing up. For myself. For others. In ways I never thought possible.
And here's what I've learned: Showing up is not just a superpower. It’s a gift.

But here’s an important truth, not everyone will choose to show up. And that’s okay. Every choice deserves respect, even if it’s different from our own. When we lead with love, we stop taking others’ choices personally. We begin to see each decision, ours or theirs, as either a lesson or a blessing.
